Privacy Policy & DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, storage, and protection of personal data submitted by Data Principals (applicants) on the official Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna (DDJAY) Haryana Portal, in strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act, Govt. of India).

1. Notice & Data Collection Scope (Section 5, DPDP Act 2023)

As a Data Fiduciary, we collect only necessary personal data specified below for explicit and lawful purposes:

  • Identity & KYC Details: Full Name, Father/Husband’s Name, Aadhaar Number, and PAN Card Number.
  • Contact Details: Mobile Phone Number, Email Address, and Correspondence Address.
  • Technical Data: IP Address, Device Type, and Timestamp for security audit trails.

2. Specified Purpose of Processing

Your personal data is collected and processed exclusively for:

  • Processing residential plot allotment applications under TCP Haryana DDJAY policy guidelines.
  • Mandatory identity verification and draw allotment registration.
  • Sending official SMS, Email, and WhatsApp communications regarding allotment status and payment receipts.

3. Affirmative Consent & Revocation (Section 6, DPDP Act 2023)

Personal data is collected only after obtaining your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent via clear affirmative action (checkbox) on the application form.

Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email request to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@ddjayharyana.org. Upon consent withdrawal, we will cease processing your personal data unless required under applicable laws.
